The apartment, created from the combination of two adjacent units, is located in a prewar building and has expansive views of the Manhattan skyline. The shell of the new apartment elaborated upon the existing prewar details, and serves as a unique backdrop for a mix of modern, traditional and contemporary furnishings.

The carefully selected design elements emphasize hand craftsmanship and natural materials. The result is a welcoming, light filled space that retains its pre-war character but includes elements of whimsy.
